Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, and create efficiently. Here's a big list of all of my favorite stuff.

Workstation

  • 16" MacBook Pro M4 Max, 32GB RAM, 1TB

Apple products are pure design and flawless interaction, crafted for humans. Performance equals efficiency, so I refuse to wait on slow machines. Fast hardware keeps my flow unblocked (and yes, fast machines are a bit of a kink).

  • iPad Pro 13" with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro

Perfect for cafe days when I need mobility. I brainstorm, read, and research on the iPad while my MacBook handles heavy lifting. It's my go-to for reviewing and annotating documents remotely.

  • Dual display: LG 32" UltraFine 4K + 27" iMac 5K Retina

Both screens stay side by side so I can context-switch without losing momentum. While code compiles or AI generates output, the second screen lets me draft blog posts or tackle other work.

  • Height-adjustable standing desk

Whether I'm in the office or at home, I need a flexible setup that keeps me moving. Switching between sitting and standing keeps my energy up and stops the boredom of staying in one position.

  • Safari over Chrome

Safari feels native, fast, and secure — like the iPhone of browsers. Chrome is powerful but bloated; Safari keeps everything refined and design-forward.

  • Notion

My everything tool for notes, writing, drafts, and sharing. It swallows content from Word, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, or email without fuss and acts as the staging ground for everything I ship.

  • Freeform on iPad Pro

My brainstorming canvas. Paired with Apple Pencil Pro, it lets me sketch and ideate freely before anything moves into a structured doc.

Development tools

  • JetBrains IDEs

JetBrains tools feel like tanks: sturdy, native, and purpose-built. They ship every feature I need for coding, debugging, refactoring, and they do it without feeling flimsy.

  • VS Code

Ideal for quick edits, viewing files, or running lightweight tasks alongside AI chat extensions. When I need pure speed, this is it.

  • Terminus

My favorite SSH client. No more reconfiguring terminals every time I switch machines or environments.

  • Photoshop

Still the most reliable way to make precise edits when I need full control over visuals.

Music & entertainment

  • Spotify, YouTube Music, and SoundCloud

I rotate between all three depending on the mood or track I'm hunting down. No single platform has everything, so keeping all three ensures I can always find the song I want.

  • Opera browser

Opera's picture-in-picture mode is unbeatable for floating YouTube videos while I keep working. Perfect background inspiration.
